THE IMAGE OF OUR LADY MARY AT SARUM ST. MARTIN
After several months away at the workshop of Howell and Howell in Saffron Walden, the restored image of Our Lady Mary with be received back into St. Martin’s Church at the Mass of Candlemass next Sunday at 11:00am. Please do join the congregation on the Sunday as we celebrate Our Lord’s Presentation in the Temple in Jerusalem by His Holy Mother and her husband St. Joseph.

Not to be outdone by the wet weather we moved over to the Parish Centre, where we had a wonderful time. £366 was raised, which is tremendous, but more tremendous was the convivial atmosphere, which these photos show. Can you spot the actors?

Please support our Decorated Hat competition for ladies,gentlemen, priests, bishops and children. Prizes for the best hats.
There will be an opportunity to visit a variety of stalls including crafts and greetings cards, cakes and more, together with raffle, children’s games and quizzes and bar facilities.
