St Martin's musical wealth lies in its well ordered liturgy and worship.
The Director of Music, Mr Ben Maton, directs a small adult group, the "St. Martin's Singers", who weekly contribute responsorial psalms and motets to the main Sunday Eucharist. Musical friends are invited to augment the choir at major festivals. Please contact Ben if you are interested in singing.
Saint Martin's has an excellent acoustic and this combined with its quiet location has led to an increasing demand for its use as a venue for many concerts as well as for recordings.
Bookings and recordings are handled by a dedicated volunteer.

A PRAYER FOR OUR PARISH
Almighty God, you have made us members of Christ and of his Church in this parish. May we as a congregation reach upwards to your throne in worship and adoration: inwards to one another in understanding and fellowship; and outwards to the world in evangelism and social compassion. Make us like a city set on a hill whose light cannot be hidden, so that men and women may find Christ as the Light of the World, and his Church as the family of the redeemed, and eternal life as the gift of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord Amen. |
